Our hiring process at Code9 is aimed at identifying, recruiting, and nurturing long-term team members who align with both our technical requirements and company culture. This process is purpose-built to achieve this goal and follows specific stages
In the assessment stage, we carefully evaluate job applicants against the hard skills criteria outlined in our job descriptions. Candidates who meet the initial threshold for job responsibilities, core competencies, education, and experience move on to the screening stage.
During the screening stage, we assess candidates for technical and cultural fit using The 5C's: Character, Calling, Competence, Chemistry, and Contribution. This evaluation encompasses both hard and soft skills. Candidates who successfully satisfy the screening criteria become potential candidates for a job offer.
Once the screening step is complete, one candidate who closely aligns with our values and skill set stands out. Before extending a job offer, we conduct a pre-qualification telephone call to ensure alignment of expectations. This step helps eliminate any potential disconnects and ensures a well-crafted job offer.
At Code9, our ultimate goal is to identify and nurture long-term team members. Upon being hired, you will undergo on-boarding training and receive a 90-day plan that outlines goals, objectives, and key activities. Your performance will be measured and evaluated against these criteria during your probationary period. This evaluation helps ensure a successful integration into the team.
